Private Lessons
I teach beginning to advanced students of all ages and qualified transfer students. All students are expected to practice five days a week..
Students begin at age 4-6 in group classes. Through age appropriate lessons and practice, students discover and build a foundation on the fundamentals of music. Age 7 -8 students transition to private lessons, in my exclusive studio, with confidence and success. It's exciting to observe their gradual progress as they build a solid foundation in music fundamentals.
Lessons are individually built around students' talents and interests. Students take part in the selection of thier music. Practice expectations are clear. I teach with positivity and enthusiams and am motivated by my students progress.

Music unlocks emotions and stimulates the brain, it literally gets me out of bed early every morning and helps me to be my personal best. Furthermore, it teaches the power of expression, allows personal growth, and builds self-esteem. My philosophy is to coach balanced, complete musicians in an uplifting and fun environment wherein students are fulfilled with a love of music, learn the language of music and are inspired with a desire to play music.

I have had students accepted into BYU’s prestigious piano performance program, as well as Utah State and University of Utah. I love teaching adult students. And enjoy guiding teenager students in finding their voice as a musician. I am dedicated to providing pianists challenge

And am dedicated to providing accompanists and performers to support and uplift our community.
As the mother of 8 and 4o years of teaching I have considerable experience to coach each student as an individual. Students guide the lesson and take part in the selection of music. I appreciate and can adapt to all learning styles. Lessons are built around students’ talents and interests . I also coach practice strategies and define practice objectives.
I am kind and choose to teach with positivity and enthusiasm. Theory is integrated into lessons and emphasized during summer piano camps. Students participate annually in UFMC Piano Solo Festival, performance evaluations and several recitals each year, including a performance at the Festival of Trees. Students also collaborate with duets and group lessons. I also coach students for personal performances and competitions.
I appreciate an engaging relationship with my students, and I am motivated by their progress and success. I love and enjoy children. My students inspire and uplift me. I love being a piano coach.

Studio Policy
I coach students to appreciate and love music and to identify as a musician. In a positive and enthusiastic environment individual lessons plans are crafted to inspire and include coaching in technique, sight reading, composition, theory, and performance. A wide- range of repertoire best suited to the individual student is used. Practice 5 days per week is expected
Tuition
Tuition is due before the 5th of each month. $10 late charge will be assessed after the 10th
30 minute lesson - $110.00 per month
45 minute lesson - $160.00 per month
TOP Kids Music classes - $90.00 per month
Calendar
There are 4 quarters each year
September – May – Each quarter includes 10 private lessons. 30 lessons total September through May.
Annual participation in recitals and UFMC Solo Festival.
June- August includes 6 private lessons and participation in Summer Piano Camp (Piano camp is divided into age groups and levels)
Fees
$55 annual music and materials fee. I provide most music
I will give a 40% credit for music returned in excellent condition.
I balance accounts annually and apply credit or debit . Parents are responsible for additional costs.

$18 For UFMC Solo Festival
Practice and Incentive Program
Students are expected to practice 5 days per week and follow the practice plan recorded in thier binder
Students are rewarded weekly for practice with Bach Bucks. BachBucks can be redeemed monthly at the Studio Store
Make Up Lessons
If a student needs to reschedule a lesson, please give me at least 24 hours notice and I will try, but can not guarantee a makeup lesson. Notice given at the beginning of the week is best.
Refunds and Credits
No refunds or credits will be given for missed lessons. If the instructor cancels the lesson a make-up lesson will be scheduled, or credit given.
Attendance
Every effort is made in the studio to stay on schedule. Prompt attendance is essential. Time will not be allowed to accommodate late arrivals.
When students enroll, they reserve their place for an entire year.
Students are required to participate in summer lessons.
Parents must give one month notice prior to terminating lessons.
Pick UP
For safety students should be picked up immediately following their lessons.
Wait for your student either in front of the house or around the corner on the street directly south of the house. (Sublette PLace). Pick up f for TOP Kids muisc classes should form a line in front of the house and around the corner. For safety please do not park and wait across the street or in the driveway.

We will return to fall lesson schedule on Monday August 19, 2024 (There are 2 lessons then - so you only need to sign up for 4 lessons during the summer vacation)
